On odd occasions the program freezes, and I get the message " Program not responding. Windows will check to see if there is a fix. Close Program or wait till it Responds". I then have to close the program or MS Windows closes it for me.

You crash is caused by the following plugin : XPLM_PLUGIN_XPLANE.
I can't tell you more about it..

Thanks for the reply. Why can't you tell me more about it ?

Because I am not part of Laminar Research team. I just thought it might help you troubleshoot your problem.

Unfortunately am no good at computer program troubleshooting.  I have no idea what XPLM_PLUGIN_XPLANE, means, or what to do about it.

Guess I'll just have to wait until X-Plane people update the product , and hope that cures the problem!

Thanks anyway for taking the time to reply.

Does the crash always happen with the same aircraft? XPLM_PLUGIN_XPLANE is the plugin manager. So it does not give much information unfortunately.

It would be interesting to remove all additional plugins you have installed, add them one by one and try to understand how the crash occurs, so that the bug can be reproduced.

In general, you have a lot of information gathered here, that can help you solve most known problems :

If you can isolate the guilty plugin, the best move would be to contact first the authors of this plugin.

All the best with this.
