Why does attempting to change switches knobs crash the simulation?

When I use the pointer to operate a switch or knob inside the cockpit it crashes the simulation. I am using MacBook Pro 2015. I use the track pad and have no flight hardware.

We haven't seen this in house or had anyone else report this. Does it happen in default aircraft? Have you removed all add ons? If it is still happening, please send a bug report that includes the exact steps you take to cause it to happen, a copy of the log.txt from immediately after the crash, and the Apple crash report (found in your user name /Libraries/Logs/DiagnosticReports). You may have to show hidden folders to access the crash report.
