I've just purchased the X-plane 11 Steam version. However, I've got a serious problem regarding the aircraft cockpit switches!

1. My default 737's autopilot panel's (F/D),(A/T),(Disengage) (Bank angle knob) does not respond when I tried to click it. (I can see the arrow when i put my mouse on the switch but when i click it, it only has the sound effect and nothing else) - so i can't use the autopilot now...

1.1 Other switches like the APUs, radios knob and a couple other little switches does not work as well... only main controls like the fuel pumps, lights, throttle, brakes, etc works

2. My default 747 is even worse, when the flight starts, the engines are on and running, HOWEVER the MFD,PFD are completely black and doesn't show anything...

2.1 Worse then the 737, no knobs or switches works in the cockpit for the 747 !

I've also tried a couple other default aircrafts and there are similar problems like the 737 but not so bad like the 747.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem ??

Thank you

While not all of the switches might really function in every aircraft, I believe all default aircraft were designed to at least start from cold & dark manually. If you are not able to do this, then there may be interference with your mouse clicks. I've seen issues of this before with multiple monitors and some times with plugins.

I just tried to start my 737 manually(Without any plug-ins)... BUT I can't even turn on the battery power switch on since I can't even turn up the covering case of the switch ! not mentioning the 747's engines were up and running in the start yet nothing seems to work... :(

I've only got 1 screen (LG 21:9 Ultra Wide WQHD AH-IPS) so i don't think its causing the problem... could the joystick also interfere the mouse clicks?

please help me :(

No, joysticks should not interfere with the mouse or manipulators. I cannot reproduce this. Try resetting your preferences to defaults by moving, renaming or deleting the entire preferences folder.

For any further troubleshooting you'll need to upload a copy of the log.txt.

It looks like it might be an issue with the XLua scripts in the airliners not being able to parse the file path.

What language are you using? What is this folder supposed to be called?

I'm using Traditional Chinese. The garbled is the folder name that I've set up for steam games so the games could be installed in another HDD which is bigger then the system SSD So how I am I suppose to fix this problem?

It's a high priority for us to fix this issue, but it won't be available until 11.10 at the earliest, which is still weeks away. If you can rename the folder using an English name that might help the issue for now until we have a fix.

Well, at least there is a update to fix it. But will Steam automatically update it? or I'll have to update it manually? And just wondering, how come I'm feeling like I'm the only one who has this problem? Looking forward to the update :)

Once the version is considered "final" I think Steam should auto update. You will have to opt into betas in order to get it before that.

In the past most of our flight simmers have been in English speaking countries or Europe. As we spread to more areas & languages through Steam we are starting to encounter this and realized this bug in the code.
