Why won't tower respond?

Question

I'm at ksea holding short of 16l, I checked in with controller and have gotten no response in10 minutes. I'm ifr with flight plan filed.

Sorry for not being a good help but you could just go ahead and assume the ATC had a medical emergency and has since died on the floor of the tower...

Sorry for my bad attempt at humour.

I honestly dont know why this would happen, Its kinda weird.. Maybe a bug?
