Hey,

When I'm flying with almost any airplane and try to look at my map (M) then always almost 7 out of 10 times XPlane just quits, there is no crash report or anything else...

Someone has this problem too?

Also when I try to change views with "Shift + (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) " It does not work or I've got to press it a hundred times..

Hi,

Can you include your X-plane 11\log.txt file?

In the meanwhile, you could try the following steps, with a launch in between :

-run the installer to update your sim, so that any corrupted file could be detected and replaced.

-delete (or move for backup) the entire X-plane 11\Output\Preferences folder

Log.txt file

Thank you for selecting my answer, I'm not sure your problem is solved though. Just in case, in your log.txt, I noticed that you installed X-plane 11 in a double folder, directly in C:\

You have C:\XPLANE11\X-Plane 11

This is not advised by Laminar Research, due to the fact that Windows often sets files access restrictions in such locations. This is very likely to trigger bugs that are hard to identify.

If random crashes still occur, can you cut/paste X-plane 11 folder directly onto your desktop?

Can you report if this solves or not the problem?

I've put my X-Plane 11 folder on my desktop and haven't had any problems with random crashes, but sometimes changing the views is a bit hard, like the sim does not recognize your first few inputs of the "shift + number" keys, but after 2 times or so it does work...
