X plane 11 won't load past Asynchronus loading

Hi.

My X - Plane won't load past asynchronous loading. I have tried un-installing and re-installing and deleting the preferences folder. I waited over 4 hours on first load to try to get this to work with no luck!. I am using a copy of X plane which I bought from Steam.

If you can access the main menu, try turning down the rendering options. Intel GPUs tend to be the least powerful and may have problems with the default rendering settings. Here is a video to walk you through finding the best settings for your machine.
