Installation Problem

Question

I successfully installed the first 7 DVD's, but the 8th one will not load. I was able to launch the program but there are a number of things I can't do.  

Do I need a new disk, a complete new set of disks or what?

I have been using X-plane since version 9 was released.

Insert DVD 1, run the latest installer from X-Plane.com, and pick the "update" option. This will scan the install and repair any missing or damaged default files.

DVD 8 should only contain scenery, so you may be missing scenery but you should be able to add it at any time by running the installer again and picking the add/remove scenery option.

If there are errors when trying to install the missing scenery, you will need to include a copy of the installer log.txt from the desktop and a screenshot of the errors.
