I've updated pretty much everything I can think of and I can't get it to run. I had run Xplane 10 in the spring but after I updated now it won't start. I do have more than one install on the same machine, I wonder if I should update the other install, but I know it is running off of the correct version.

I also loaded Xplane 11 and it ran on my machine which I can dual boot with Linux and it ran okay there but not in Win 10. It did freeze up a couple of times but it restarted. I probably need a more powerful machine to run 11.

Any ideas? Here's my text log.

I've run the X-Plane 10 installer as ADMIN and updated the install. Will start but before it completes loading it goes into the Windows has stopped working error message.

What is TrackerXP? If it's a plugin, try to remove it (temporarily) to find whether it makes a difference. RAM should be enough, while not plenty.

Move the preferences folder (found in the Output folder) to the desktop, then restart X‑Plane and default preferences will be restored. If the default preferences do not fix your problem, you can simply replace them with the folder you moved to the desktop and restore your personalized settings.

The final common culprit is third party add ons, such as scenery and plugins. Try moving the Custom Scenery folder and plugins folder (found in the Resources folder) to the desktop, then restart X-Plane.
