Hello, been enjoying X-Plane 11.20 with the Oculus Rift until this problem occurs.

About 5-10 minutes in X-Plane Steam VR stops tracking the Oculus Rift and crashes out of VR yet the sim is still running. All other VR applications that I have run do not do this. X-Plane is the only application that crashes out the Oculus Rift for me. The only error I recieve is that Steam VR says X-Plane is no longer responding. The following are my PC's specs. Thank you!

Processor

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Video Card: Trigger II External Graphics

Video Card #2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

RAM: 16 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 15063), 64-bit

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Able to produce other information upon request.

If the automatic crash report form comes up, be sure to fill it out and send it to us.

Otherwise, note that X-Plane only supports 1 GPU. Having 2 could be causing crashes.

You might also check your fps. Turn off VR, turn on fps output to the cockpit in settings, and make sure that you get around 45 fps without VR running. If not, try adjusting the graphics options. Note that VR is actually very CPU intensive.

Awsome thank you very much, I also tried using FlyInside (I just discovered this program) because it doesn't use SteamVR and everything was smooth. Not jitters Stutters black outs or grey outs. I'm starting to think it might be SteamVR. I will try what you have suggested.

Thank you for a speedy reply!
