X Plane 11 won't start. When I open the app it tries to start, a black screen flashes like 3 or 4 times and then it only closes again I don't even get any error messages. I've already deleted plugins and preferences files and won’t fix anything, I’ve read in some forums that other people had the same problem and they fixed it by updating NVIDIA drives on GeForce Experience app; well I did that too and didn’t work for me.

I don’t know what else to do, please help.

Computer specifications:

OS:   Windows 10 (64 bits)

Hi, according to the log file, the problem could be related to the langage file. But I don't know if the problem is on steam side, Windows side or X-Plane side. And I'm not even sure it comes from there. (I'm not affiliated to Laminar Research).

If I were you and had a fast enough internet connection, I would remove and reinstall X-plane via Steam interface, with no scenery at first, so that it's only 10Gb to download. If everything works as expected, then I would install the scenery I want...

I uninstalled it and then installed it again and still not working :(

Can you try and change your computer language to english? Then delete your X-Plane preferences folder?

I managed to start xp11, I changed the app to run under my integrated graphic card and it actually worked, but when I open xp11 using my NVIDIA GTX 1050 TI the app crashes. I’m really confused since I have all drives updated.

Could you try an older driver? Have you ever been able to run X-plane with your GTX 1050 TI?
