VFR ATC for Xplane 10.50/11?

Hi everyone!

I'm really looking forward to the new version of X-Plane; it looks like you've worked really hard and I plan on building a new computer to make the experience as fun and realistic as possible. One thing that I've always found to be frustrating was what appeared to be a lack of support for VFR ATC. It seems like IFR is the only way to go, and sometimes I'd like to be able to make short trips in a Cessna. Can you please advise on whether this will be updated/included in the new release? Or maybe I'm not setting things up correctly as is within the most recent release.

Hi mndoria,

This is a good question, but unfortunately the answer is no, VFR flight with default ATC will not be available any time soon. We are a very small team, and implementing this feature would require a lot of time and work that just isn't available right now, with everything else we're working on. It is on our list of things we'd like to get in the future though!
