What is the problem with "BAD GAMMA" in some Resources?

I see these messages when starting X-Plane 11 Beta:

BAD GAMMA: Resources/bitmaps/skycolors/sun_glow_socked.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/bitmaps/skycolors/sun_glow_foggy.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/bitmaps/skycolors/sun_glow_hazy.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/bitmaps/skycolors/sun_glow_hialt.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/bitmaps/skycolors/sun_glow_orbit.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/default scenery/sim objects/dynamic/Nimitz.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/default scenery/sim objects/dynamic/Nimitz_lit.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/default scenery/sim objects/dynamic/Perry.png
BAD GAMMA: Resources/default scenery/sim objects/dynamic/Perry_lit.png

Is this a local problem, or a problem of the distribution?

I do not see these messages when I start X-Plane (Mac/Win) so it may be a Linux specific issue. You may find quicker and more thorough help with X-Plane on Linux in the X-Plane.org forums.
