Why will X-plane 10 not load on Mac OS Sierra

Question

Had plane 10 version 10.21r2 (DVD) loaded on my iMac....operating system Yosemite. When I upgraded my Mac to latest os Sierra version 10.12.2 it will not load. Insert DVD....double click on installer. Nothing. Would consider x-plane 11....but not if will not load. Any suggestions ?

Try the latest installer from here on the X-Plane website. You may also need to upgrade to the latest version of X-Plane (10.51) to use it with the newest operating system versions.
