Will there be an upgrade install process from 10.x to 11?

I realize for pricing/marketing Ver 11 is a new purchase, even if you already have Ver 10.  My question is whether the xplane 11 installation process will search for my xplane 10 directories and transfer my planes, scenery or other custom plugins into the new xplane 11 directory? OR, will i have to do that on my own at some point after I install xplane 11?

Hi, it will be a completely separate install and you will have to move everything on your own. I suggest you go through the process slowly, in order to target more easily potential compatibility issues. Especially concerning plugins and aircraft.
About third party aircraft, at the moment, there are several cases when you can not load them on initial startup. Wou have to load them once the sim is completely loaded..
