(Couldn't resolve proxy name)

This is not enough information to do anything with. Make sure you have not installed X-Plane to the Applications folder. 

 You'll need to attach a copy of the installer log.txt and the crash report (found in your user name /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ , and you may have to show hidden folders).
