X-Plane 10 shows frame rate of 60, X-Plane 11 with similar settings shows 12!!! Graphic Card Geforce GTX 1070

Was it at the same scenery for both versions that you saw this?

I can tell you that I also have a GTX 1070, i7 4770K default clock but turbo OC at 4.2GHZ, 32GB RAM memory. IF I am at a terminal at KJFK payware airport, my FPS are in low teens, at LOWI on a runway they are about 30. Flying over the ocean with about 55% cloud cover they are about 60. This is all with X-Plane 11. The only way for me to get reasonable FPS at KJFK is by turning off shadows to static.

Airport was LEMG, LFSB and LSZH, Aircraft Tomcat and C 172. No big change. Shadows static and Weather Cavok. X-Plane 10 does it perfect!

This what I get at LFSB and C130, I have not got C172: 29.6 FPS. My hardware i7 4770K default clock but turbo OC 4.2GHZ , Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB, 32GB RAM memory. At same airport same aircraft and view I get 43FPS. So yes there is quite a large difference but the difference with your set up seems extreme. What is your CPU, memory hardware?

X-Plane 10.52 settings.

Look at this link it suggests turn off Threading Optimization among others.

You have a CPU that is probably bottlenecking your GPU in X-Plane 11. In time per frame. If the time is large CPU compared to GPU then you have a bottleneck.  You can compare how much of a bottleneck between X-Plane 10 and 11. Even my CPU, I7 4770K is a bottleneck in X-Plane 11. Anyway have a look at the link. You might get some better results.
