Hi C McDaniel,I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer..Provide more details on your viewing configuration. What you have provided is extremely scant.
What graphics card are you running. X-Plane will not work in SLI. How may screens are you trying to run to get your "6080" pixel width? What angle of view do you want? How are you trying to configure your screen(s). Are you using Gsync or Freesync or through your operating system (windows) or through your graphics card (NVidia)?
To get the best effect configure through X-Plane. Have a look at the princple adopted by Russ Barlow in his YouTube video found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJ0GItVWHxQ and then https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhosGYgREQs and then https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7LfXqpi-I8 and finally at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjdgOBJ5xkQ
In this last video he uses a 60 degree angle of view for each television to obtain a total view of 180 degrees. If you want to use a greater viewing angle then divide the viewing angle by the number of screens. In this methodology you get individual x-plane views when running one legal copy of x-plane.
Finally have a look at the x-plane user manual found at https://x-plane.com/manuals/desktop/#configuringamulti-monitorsimulator
Anybody have any idea why x-plane limits screen caps to 4096 horizontal resolution??????
