If I select HDG with the Heading Bug Centered the Yoke turns about 30 degrees left and turns on the Autopilot. If I turn off the autopilot it turns off the HDG? It doe's not do this in X-Plane 11.

X-Plane Installer Cant Install Updates

I am using Mac OS Catalina, And I know its an Issue with this OS Because it didnt happen in OS Mojave.

Everytime i try to update X-Plane 11, I get messages that say the installer is not able to write to required paths and correct the file permissions in the file browser (Finder). Once i get through those messages, the installer then says it can Proceed with the update because Of the error (Error: Permission Denied. Perhaps you do not have access to a directory or file system

I am running a 2017 iMac with an i7 and a Vega 64 via eGPU and the performance is horrid for the setup. I have read there are issues with Xplane using an eGPU even if you’re only using an external monitor via the eGPU. Is there any fix or acknowledgment that there’s an issue?

Autopilot stopped working mid-flight, unable to reset

Hello! I had a weird experience yesterday on my default MD-80. All was fine for about an hour into the flight, then the autopilot switched off, the vertical speed selector was turning around on its own (going from 0 to 9999 to 0 to -9999). I was clicking all over the place to try and stop it, but it didn't help. The in-flight malfunctions are disabled, so this can't be the problem. I started a new flight on another plane and then again on the MD-80 to see if it resets; the vertical speed button wasn't moving anymore, but I can't switch on my autopilot at all. It clicks but immediately turns off again. I reloaded the plane, restarted X-plane and restarted the computer too. The problem is still there. Any flight I make on the MD-80 is the same - I cannot use the autopilot at all in any mode whatsoever. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Flying the 58 Baron (default) with autopilot, when I trim up or down for (e.g.) approach, the AP kicks out and I can't maintain heading desired, or needed to change. When I scroll down to see the AP, I lose sight and bearing and go out of control. With a VS setting I could manage trim up or down, but there doesn't seem to be an option to control VS up or down. I assume this might be solved with the Carenado Baron (with G750), but I'd like to fly the default plane a while first.

I created an eVTOL in X-plane 11.34. With the proper electrical settings, it gets pretty realistic, where big batteries set at the proper capacity give me a moderate range. Now I want to add a Range Extender, for which I use the APU functionality. I can start the APU, but my batteries still show negative amps, meaning they don't get charged. How do I set up the APU such that it can charge my batteries? Or can you suggest another setup?

Hi,

in XP10 it was possible to refuel a jet when close enough to basket (100m) with probe extended.

Now it seems to be broken - tested in F-18 by Colimata and F-14 by Dryden.

Please fix it or say what in PlaneMaker must be set properly.

Clutch is not working

Since the penultimate update, I'm starting the engine and the clutch is not working . If I turn on the clutch, the manifold pressure indicator goes beyond the limit , the principal rotor not run, so the engine stop. On failures section no appear message.

Strange pop-up when selecting "AI flies aircraft."

When selecting "AI flies aircraft" after a few seconds to a few minutes a dark gray hint pop-up appears with a message about converting barometric pressure from English units to metric units in Europe. This pop-up tracks the mouse button around the screen and is almost impossible to get to disappear. Even when you do get rid of it, it comes back eventually.

I have updated to the current version, it is still there. I tried multiple aircraft, and multiple airports, it's still there.

Any help in making this go away would be greatly appreciated.

How do I get ATC to work?

My ATC was working fine up until a couple days ago. This only happens with Zibo's 737-800X mod, not the default 737-800 model

When I hit "Enter" to bring up the Air Traffic Control window, it clicks continuously. When I click one of the buttons to trigger the ATC's voice, it glitches momentarily (<1s) and is silent otherwise. When I readback transmissions, however, my pilot's voice/readback work fine. The clicking noise occurs throughout. Also, the text of the ATC communication that is usually in the top left of the screen has disappeared.

I recently loaded a custom scenery airport KSQL ( San Carlos ) and it appears that there is a forest right before

Runway 30. It is not in the scenery package. So I removed the scenery package and used the default X Plane 11

Scenery and it is still there. The Overlay Editor dies not see these objects in either airport scenery. Is there a way to

to remove default objects that are in the way of landing on a runway ?

I have been looking for a similar question but I have not found it, if the place of the question is not this, I am sorry, tell me what the place is.

Recently in one of the latest updates the military airfield KNKL (NKL), which is actually in disuse, runway numbers have disappeared, instead of the numbers an "X" appears.

How can I put the numbers back? I have edited the airport with WED, but the numbers do come out there.

If you begin with the engines running and then turn off 2, the starters on the off engines will turn them over. Otherwise they move the props a little but not past the first compression.

It's hard to tell when I've landed, and I'm not that good. Other sounds like engines are fine, but there's no sense of the wheels touching the ground, Never any accidents or bounces.

I am using an usb 3 audio device for streaming in/out audio out of my laptop. I wanted to do the same with X plane sending 5.1 (6ch audio) over to the interface and use in surround sound. However, I keep getting stereo sound from Xplane while other software easily interacts with the interface providing me of multi channel audio. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hello, I am making a front panel for a T-6A. I am using a teensy board. In Xplane, the maximum number for buttons is shown as 33 (btn 31). Is there a way I can increase this without having to buy another board? Looking for around 57 buttons.

Sound distortion on custom aircraft

Whenever I load a custom aircraft (FFA320, B767, Magknight B789 or Jardesign A330), I have huge soundbugs. Sound is laggy and distorted, even on sounds outside the sim (music, for example). As soon as I pick a default aircraft, sound is ok again.

I tried reinstalling Audio Drivers, check different output devices, reinstalled X-Plane, all to no avail.

Any help is appreciated.

G1000 pop-out

Hi, there.

I tried the Cessna 172SP_G1000, both the PFD and MFD can pop-out and move to another monitors.

However, when I try to find out how to make the pop-out function from the plane maker, which is saving to another aircraft name, the G1000 pop-out function disappear. Also there is a warn message shows.

OBS_HSI gliding sideway using Auto pilot

On Sikorsky, I used to be able to use the auto pilot and the heading to glide sideway by turning the OBS_HSI (the yellow nob) on a different direction from the heading. I am not able to do it now, because I forgot how I did it. Does any know how to do that?

Also if I accidentally hit a button and mess up is there any way to reset?

A week ago russian "rkn" did a new ban list to block telegram. Mb u know about this war. In this case a lot of vatsim servers were banned for russian users. Hi Folks-- I am a Brand New(b) and this is my question: I am running Android 7.0 on a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 that is not rooted, and I have heard from some that because of hardware issues, it may not even be possible to root. So, the problem is I would like to add some different aircraft, But since Android won't let you see the actual apps on the drive, I cannot simply drop said aircraft into the "aircraft" folder. I decided to fly from KSAV to KJAX I got the plane on and ready to go I put the info in the FMC and then I went to the ATC window and it changed like it was updated but there was no recent update on the ATC. All there was in the window was file flight plan and request altimeter it used to be that it would have request clearance request taxi etc. So I thought that I would do push back then it might work. Bad luck nothing worked I filed 5 flight plans and requested several altimeters in hopes of it having request taxi show up. No luck but that sure is a lot of flights I have to do!! Is anyone else having the same problem? Please help.

Hi everyone,

I bought X Plane 11 (DVD Version, Windows 7) and tried to install it today. But about five minutes after starting the installation, an "Error 5:-3" message appeared, saying that one data could not be installed. I had the options to continue the Installation or to stop it. I tried to continue it, but the message appeared again after less than one second. I've already tried to copy the data of the CD on my Computer and it worked perfectly. Is there anybody who already knows the message and how to solve the problem?

Otherwise, I could try to contact the Support. Problematically, the "log.txt" data is required to send a report. But I guess it's hard to send it as long as x Plane is not installed. I already searched in the DVD files, but I couldn't find a log.txt data.Is there anybody who knows where to find this data? Or can I send a Report without sending this data?

EDIT: Instantly after I started the x Plane 11 installer, the message (I am German) "X- Plane 11 Installer.exe funktioniert nicht mehr" (which means "X-Plane 11 Installer.exe does not work anymore") appeared. I only had the option to press on "close the program" but after that, the installer started and worked normally (until my error appeared). Maybe that has any link to my real problem.

Oculus Rift S LCD HMD compatibilty under low-light conditions

Having recently updated my HMD from an Oculus cv1 to the new Rift S, I have found the low-light performance of the LCD based display to be relatively poor for dawn, dusk and night flying in VR. Blacks and dark areas within the cockpit and elsewhere appear to take on a misty or smokey appearance. I'm certain it's not the headset because other VR apps available from the Oculus Store do not exhibit the same issue and indeed, reading a number of X Plane forums, several other users are experiencing the same problem. Although I'm not certain, my guess would be that the existing native VR support within the current version of X Plane 11 is optimised for the OLED cv1 and therefore doesn't work too well, particularly in low-light conditions, for the LCD alternative of the Rift S. Has anybody else experienced the same issue and does anyone know if LR plan to address this issue in the furure by perhaps detecting or requesting user input as to which HMD is being used?
