Hi TommyJon,

I am not with Laminar Research or any links with the company mentioned below; just a flight simmer.

Have a look at the following link found at https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/

Most flight simmers, particularly the serious flight simmers, build or have a system that is equal to or of greater specifications than the recommended system requirements.  X-plane 11 is resource hungry with reliance on good graphics (GPU), good CPU speed and good memory (RAM).  Because X-Plane, particularly version 11, generates heat  you also need to have good internal cooling.  If not then your system will most likely crash.

Personally I think your system is aged and the weakest  link is the graphics card.  Memory (RAM) should also be considered as an upgrade requirement

Have a look at the following YouTube videos from Michael Brown.  They may be of some benefit or help with your dilemma.  He company builds flight simulation PCs predominantly for X-Plane.  His company is recommended by Laminar Research  as the PC supplier within the USA.

The two links can be found at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_YQMSeNM-M  from about 3 min 30 secs     and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQr4uuRJKiU

I hope this helps.  Good luck

Glenn

Hi Tommy,

Your video card has only 1/4 of the required memory and is 4 generation older than the first Nvidia GPU that meets the required minimal (Geforce 400):
Try setting every slider way down in the graphic options, but even then, I doubt it would run acceptably. Sorry. sad
