Very disappointed with VR performance and considering returning it after spending the last 120 minutes tweaking with settings to find there's just no way to polish this turd.

System Specs:

Win 10

i7-7700k overclocked conservatively at 4.2Ghz

32GB of PC 3200 DDR4 RAM

Installed on brand new Patriot 500Gb/6Gbps SATA III SSD

NVidia GTX 1080Ti 11G v 411.63

Oculus Rift

(Side note-this setup runs DCS quite well and looks amazing in VR)

Problem #1: After calibrating Saitek/Logitech Pro Yoke and Throttle Quadrant-profile is not saved and must re-select joystick and load profile every time FS is booted.

Problem #2: Graphics in VR are horrendous. I bought it because online reviews stated VR was hi-rez and "amazing" but for a sim that was dev'd in the last 2 years, I am sorely disappointed. My PS VR looks about this good~!!  Airplane model skins are jagged and look ugly as shit, can't read text in menus because it's either blurry or aliased to shit even with textures and graphics at max with Antialisaing on Full at 8x.  Oculus screen judders and glitches with any head movement with VFX and Texture settings all the way up, which for my system is not a problem in high end racing simulators like Project Cars 2.

Problem #3: No dead zone configuration for Throttle or Yoke-throttle quadrant levers jumping around in sim

Problem #4: X-Plane 11 CRASHES AND HANGS EVERY TIME I QUIT PROGRAM (USING MENU "QUIT X-PLANE").  Must force quit to remove frozen display image.

PS-per your suggestion I had turned down the world objects to medium to improve framerate and juddering, but technically, going down to low from medium with a very low amount of world objects just doesn't feel right based on the fact that I've got well over the recommended system specs.
