Hi

I fly Otho4XP with very crisp detailed google earth like scenery but now I see too much difference with the apron ,tax,i roads and runways on top of this scenery, can I turn it off so that just the autogen stays on top of the scenery? Than there is it so more emersive flying over airports for me.

Might that be possible by saving some folders/files in a temp. folder?

Yours sincerely

Danny Schildmeijer

thank you very much!

I'm not sure I understand the question.

You can turn off roads and how much scenery shows up in the rendering settings.

If you want to hide default scenery airports, you would probably need to change the order of your scenery packs in the scenery_packs.ini file. Read more about scenery pack order in that file here.

actually the question is, can runways and taxiways excluded from photo sceneries so tha runway centerline lights and taxi lead on lights and painted markings stay visible?

If you put the photoscenery pack above all airports, it should remove all airport features such as pavement. However, buildings and everything else associated with the pack will also disappear.

You can edit the pack yourself and make the pavement transparent, but note that AI aircraft won't use the airport then.

the airport KTMB isn't listed , Photo scenery provided via Ortho4XP shows correctly but I just want the taxi and runways removed.

I tried to remove them via WED but then by saving my stuff the popup says "the airport contains no runway and taxiways so it cant be saved.

Any other options?
