First off all, many congrats for the superb X-Plane 11.
I'm coming over from P3D because of the superb PBR lightning in X-Plane 11, the intuitive UI, the flightmodel, etc.

The installation of X-Plane 11 finished successful, and I enjoyed already my first flight.
When I open the X-Plane Installer Log, I notice the following WARNING:  we are missing the texture: RESOURCE:black_opaque.png
Please find in attachment the complete X-Plane Installer Log.

imageDownload file

My question: Is this warning relevant? Do I really need this texture?
If this texture is needed:  where can I get this file to install it? Do I need to re-download the complete X-plane 11?

My system:  win10 64 bit, 32 GB RAM,  Nvidia Titan X 12GB, Monitor Samsung 4K 28inch, SSD1TB for Win10, HDD 8TB for X-Plane 11.  Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog,

Please feel free to ask additional info if needed.

Best regards,
Frank

If there don't seem to be evident issues in-sim, it is likely irrelevant in this case solely because I think there are a LOT of wacky issues going on in this Public Beta (which was expected). For example, I just looked at my log.txt and it showed all different kinds of problems. Now, I did not actually get the "Warning" message you mentioned in my log.txt, but I have a slew of other things. In your case, something may have went wrong during installation, but I couldn't say. Perfectly normal in a Beta!  :-)

Feel free to report the bug here: http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html

Make sure to mention the circumstances under which the simulator was under (i.e.: which plane, airport, AI aircraft, etc.)

Yep. :) It is just an inference if anything.
