Why does the xplane 11 taskbar not function properly?

I have Xplane 11 installed on my mac and every time I go into a flight, I can not click anything on the taskbar. It shows up when I hover over and then when I click an option the drop down menu shows up but It doesn't let me click anything and it disappears in 2 seconds. Please help. Thanks

It sounds like your frame rate may be too low. That's when I've experienced this problem before. Reduce rendering settings, turn off AI aircraft or clouds to help with FPS.

Thanks for the advice but that still didn't fix it. I'm confused because Xplane 10 works fine. Do you have any other suggestions or should I just reinstall it.

X-Plane 11 has higher system requirements than X-Plane 10, so a computer than can run X-Plane 10 may not be able to run X-Plane 11 well, especially at the same rendering settings. Check that your computer meets the system requirements here.
