How much data does the free download of x-plane 9 take because I have data restrictions on my internet?

I need to know how much data is required to download the free download of x plane 9. I have data restrictions with my internet. I need to know how much data is needed to download the free version of x plane 9. Any answers would be appreciated.

Hi Trozier,

Just tried the downloads which were successful.  Didn't install though.  Appears the version 9 demo and the version 9 updater are approximately 2.3 Mb each in size.  This will expand on your machine when unzipped.

To sum it up, X-plane 9, base package : between 10 and 20Gb
Then you can reach 70Gb depending on what part of the world you want to download/install

The installer will probably show you the amount of data you have to download depending of the options you select.
