How do I install X-Plane Regional on my Linux machine?

I'm unable to install my new X-Plane Regional software on my Linux machine. None of the published fixes have worked. Any help with getting my X-Plane installed would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,

I am unfamiliar with Linux and our manual does only go through step by step installation on Windows & Mac computers. Can you provide more detailed information on the exact steps you have tried?

Just got an answer from Graphsim...Linux is not supported. This despite the fact that x-Plane claims to install on Linux machines. Yeah, they got my money$. No more x-plane bs for me.

I'm sorry that wasn't clear before you made the purchase. For what it's worth, if you are still interested in X-Plane, the full version we demo and sell at X-Plane.com is Linux compatible.
