I left FSX due to OOM errors at the end of my flights, now I am dealing with this in XP11... If anyone can shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated, I have no desire to waste hours of my time on a sim that crashes. Here is the event viewer report:

Hi B.Lee,

Is your computer a 32 bit unit or a 64 bit unit?  In reading some of the information supplied, which I don't fully understand, it suggests to me that your computer has a 32 bit operating system.

FSX software runs only on 32 bit and has a limitation of only being able to use 4Gb of RAM  32 bit is now old technology and you would be extremely lucky to find a new 32 bit computer.

Have a look at the system requirements and the recommended system requirements for the running of X-Plane which can be found at http://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/

X-Plane 11 is a 64 bit system.  I am of the opinion it will not or be capable of running on your current computer.

If you need to purchase a new computer then go for a Nvidia card instead of AMD for better results and endeavor to acquire the "recommended" system instead of the minimum

Hope this helps.

Glenn

I am running a 64 bit OS and my framerates are fine... Next time offer some actual help instead of "buy a new computer". I'm not interested in your opinions. How about some actual facts instead. You seem to know jack about computers.
