Technical problem that disrupts install

Question

I'm trying to install X-Plane 11, and i wrote the serial key into the installer and clicked on install. Then it told me this: There was a problem installing X-Plane 11.

 

(The technical problem was: There was a problem with the authentication server. Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates.)

I used kaspersky and it seemed to block the authentication server even if i did not press block connection..

I fixed it by adding a exception in the settings to this URL: https://clearancedelivery.x-plane.com/v1/authenticate

Hi, make sure your firewall is not blocking X-plane. Sometimes, it can help to disable firewall and antivirus temporarily.

Any other clues of what might interrupt it?
