Cannot get mirroring to work. I've selected AirPlay >Apple TV (mirroring) and although Apple TV screen blacks out, the signal then reverts back to the Apple TV splash screen.

I found out that the problem appeared to be that X-Plane 10 will not mirror if there is a hard-wired connection from the Apple TV to the router. When I unplugged the ethernet cable and connected AppleTV over Wi-Fi X-Plane 10 mirrored successfully.

This solution did not work for me.  I still get a black TV screen until I close X-plane on my Iphone 6 plus.  Then the mirroring works fine again.  In fact, I use the mirroring with several other flight simulators.  Mirroring works great with "Aerofly 2", and on "MetalStorm" the airplay integrated dualscreen mode works like a dream.

Well, I finally got X-plane to mirror by restarting Apple TV 3 times.
