buy game on steam can i buy plane on website?

Hi there

 

Can i buy new planes and stuff from x plane website and it work on steam?

 

Or i need to wait for a steam DLC?

You can add third party add ons even if you get them from somewhere other than Steam. You will need to know where the X-Plane root folder is located so you can put them in the right place.

  • Start STEAM. Goto LIBRARY.
  • Right click on X-Plane 
  • Choose Properties.
  • In the rising window choose LOCAL FILES.
  • And than choose BROWSE LOCAL FILES.
  • Now you are in the X-Plane Main (Root) Folder and you see the path in your file explorer.
