Radio tuning with a mouse in X-Plane is inherently awkward compared to real-world knob turning. Flying the stock X-Plane 11 Cessna 172 with the Garmin 1000 GPS, tuning is made even more inconvenient by the 5 kHz spacing. The real world aircraft I fly can switch between selecting 25 kHz (e.g. 122.700, 122.725, 122.750) or 50 kHz spacing (e.g. 122.700, 122.750). I would prefer a default of 25 kHz spacing or the ability to select the spacing. I do not believe there is currently a need for 5 kHz spacing. It is inconvenient and not realistic.
