can i upgrade to x-plane 11 from a disc version of x-plane 10

I have an installed full boxed set of x-plane 10. Can this be upgraded to x-plane 11 or is a new purchase required.

Hi backseatmo,

X-Plane 10 is a completely different product to x-plane 11.  You will need to purchase x-plane 11.

When you do and start to load you will need to create a totally new directory ie don't load 11 into the same 10 directory.
