How can I add more than 8 motors/props to an aircraft in plane maker?

I want to create an aircraft with more than 8 motors/props/turbines.  Is there an SDK plug-in that allows this for plane maker, or a guide/tutorial than might point me in the right direction in writing my own plug-in?  Thanks!

I don't know of any plugins that modify Plane Maker. You can view the official documents on plugins here, or ask in the X-Plane.org forums for more specific help.
