Can you copy any of the files off of DVD 2? If not, it could be a disc problem and you will need to contact whoever you purchased it from directly.
In order to get started flying, you can select no scenery and X-Plane should install the basic sim that you can use to fly in the meantime. Scenery will only be available in Seattle but there will not be a time out.
