I have Xplane10 on my powerfull HP laptop.

Is it possible to obtain a permanent view of the cockpit instruments on the laptop screen and connect another screen for a permanent view forward of the scenery. What is the easiest way to achieve it ?

If Xplae 10 can't , does Xplane 11 ?

Thank you.

In X-Plane 11 you can set the Visual Offsets in the monitor configuration of the settings window to have different views of the same type on each monitor. So you could have a view of the cockpit instruments on one screen, and the left window on another for example. You cannot set up either X-Plane 10 or 11 to have to entirely different views, such as one cockpit & one scenery only.

Thank you.

Do I understand well that  X-plane 11  can give a cockpit view on a laptop screen and another cockpit view on an additional monitor ?

By cockpit views is understood : with instrument panel and with hud as well ??

In rendering oprions from X-plane 10 ( right under ) buttom : display IOS on second monitor is explained as possible to use a monitor . What is this ???

Kind regards
