Problem updating x-plane input output error

Question

Please see error below: I am trying to update to the most recent version and there is a new error coming up (Technical Problem was: Input/Output error). Please help.

Upload a copy of the full installer log.txt somewhere and provide a link to it here. Usually we only see input/output errors when using DVDs.
