Code used is an older version of X-Plane - cannot use some sceneries

Hi! First time here and would like to ask a question. I recently borrowed my friend's product key to try out the game but there were errors with updating my scenery because it was an older version of X-Plane. I can't proceed to download the game and was prompted to ask Tech Support for help. Would really appreciate the help from the X-Plane community! Thanks so much in advance!

Hi YILINWYL,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

Don't get confused with X-Plane 10 and X-Plane 11.  Completely different products as is a Mercedes car and a Toyota car and does not allow any interaction.

Try downloading the demo version from Laminar research.  The required specifications to run X-Plane 11 has changed from X-Plane 10.  The specifications can be found at   https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-system-requirements/  Serious flight simmers usually build a windows based PC with specifications equal to or greater than the recommended specifications.
