Hi Kris,

I am not with Laminar Research; just a flight simmer.

You need to install a freeware (donation ware) software package called Xsaitekpanels.  No other way.

Firstly before anything, remove all saitek/logitech software related to the panels from your PC using an extremely reliable removal tool.

Secondly dump the DVDs provided with your panels in the bin.

Saitek software does not work with X-Plane.

Now go to the following link found at http://www.x-plane.org/    It is a dedicated site just for X-Plane users and does not have any association with Laminar Research, the developers of X-Plane.

Then go to the following link found at https://forums.x-plane.org/  In the top right hand corner of the screen "SIGN UP" to become affiliated with this site.

When done then click on Downloads (menu Bar) at the top of the screen. Then scroll down the right hand side and under Utilities and click on Xsaitekpanels.  Here you will find the software relevant to your aircraft.

If you can't find your aircraft use this link to find the basic or original program at https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/14646-xsaitekpanels-linwinmac3264/  I would recommend reading all the information in this link first before doing anything else.

If you are having trouble with the installation look through the XSaitekpanels forum page(s) or contact the developer of the software. The only problem with this forum is that you have to make at least 2 comments on other forum postings before you can ask a question.  I strongly suggest you go this way and not through the normal X-Plane Q&A forum.

Now as a sideline issue if you are using Saitek hardware eg yoke, pedals, and or throttle perform the same function of dumping the saitek software and then install the hardware through X-plane.  Again no other way.  Have a look at the following link found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU_TuALAlJk  Use the principle for each hardware item.  Michael builds PCs predominatly for X-plane and his business is the preferred PC supplier by Laminar Research in the USA.

Good luck

Glenn
