Cannot run X-Plane 11.30

Question

I purchased X-Plane 11 a week or so ago. Since then I have been trying to use it.

My computer is a DELL OptiPlex 9010 with an Intel HD Graphics 4000 card.

When I try to start a flight, after a few minutes trying to load everything it comes up with an error, see attached screen capture.

I have also attached the log file with all the error messages in it.

I tried reinstalling it at least 4 times so far, I have also updated the graphics driver and at this time I am sure it is the most recent. I still could not get it to work.

Please let me know how to fix this issue.

You may have a problem with your graphics driver. Re-install your graphics driver and try again. make sure its OGL compatible. Also, Intel IGPU is not really a good graphics processor as it's included in the CPU chip and it's not very powerful. It might be a good idea to buy a low end/midrange video card.

If not check .....\X-Plane\Resources\shaders\deferred_vert.glsl and deferred_frag.glsl. Make sure they are completely removed when you uninstall it.

The GTX 1060 6GB will be adequate for running X-Plane 11 in medium-high rendering settings.  For reference, Laminar Research specifies the GTX 1070 or better as recommended requirements.

I used to have a 1060 6GB card as well.  It was underpowered for operating more complex aircraft at high settings, so I upgraded to a RTX 2070 recently.  If you are a serious simmer, you should probably consider a higher performance option.

GTX 1060 should be a good graphics card for what you seem to have, i7-3770?

Any further, you may encounter CPU bottlenecks, so I think 1060 6GB is a great sweet spot.
