How to launch X-Plane with --fmod_live_update argument on Mac, Mojave Terminal

I have no problem launching it from the Terminal either as app or within the content "/X-Plane 11/X-Plane.app/Contents/MacOS/X-Plane" but with
--fmod_live_update
-fmod_live_update

no luck.
