I am considering on purchasing X-Plane which will primarily be used for flight planning.

I live in Brisbane, Australia, so before I download, is Queensland included in the list of available Airports?

Hi Fritzables,

I am not from Laminar Research; just a flight simmer downunder some 13 hrs 41 minutes or 1265 Kms south of you just off the Newell Hwy when travelling to Melbourne by road.

At the moment I cannot get to my system to confirm what airports are near you that are in X_plane.  However my two closest airports are listed.

Firstly download the demo version and try X-Plane.  It will have a time limit and also has a fixed location.

There are thousands of airports for X-Plane including many in Australia such as the remote location of Louth.  What you need to know is the designator.  I am of the opinion that Brisbane will have an International designator (identification) for the domestic terminal and one for the International Airport.

Have a look at the following link found at  https://gateway.x-plane.com/  When you do scroll through the various tabs at the top of the pages.  Also have a look at https://www.x-plane.com/2018/12/x-plane-11-30-airports-update/

I would be surprised if what you want is not listed.  Just found Brisbane international at the following link https://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/YBBN  as listed in link 2 above.

Also have a look at this site found at https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-30-release-notes/#New_and_updated_global_airports

Hope this helps.  Good luck.
