How do I get rid of the message, "smacks of a corrupted file" in x-plane 9?

I have x-plane 9 for my windows 10 pc, and whenever I download an aircraft from x-plane.org, and I load it in the game, it will pop up with a message saying, "smacks of a corrupted file" and a bunch more stuff saying I cant use the plane. I've tried over ten different aircraft and nothing works. How do I fix this? Thank you!

Make sure you are downloading X-Plane 9 aircraft; x-plane.org has a number of X-Plane 10 and X-Plane 9 software, but in some instances, they are not compatible with both. Also, make sure you extracting the downloaded files and installing them correctly.

I don't know if there is a way to stop the message from displaying because it is telling you that there is an error, which is important. With or without the message, there is still an error. :-)
