How indicative to performance is the Demo version vs the full version

Question

I tried the approach to a landing at KSEA and the frame rates and scenery were both acceptable .

I don't want to spend the money and then find out my computer will not run it properly

I think that the performance is absolutely the same in the full version (if flying at the same spot, with the same settings).

Of course your mileage will vary heavily with the scenery displayed and your rendering settings. Seattle is already a very built-up area, but there are spots that have even more objects (like New York City, for example), and your framerate will be slightly less there.
