Downloaded-dataref.editor. Placed in resource,plug-ins. It dose not show in Plug-ins. I have win 10 sys.

Question

I downloaded the file ,unzipped,copied to X-plane 10. went to Resources, then installed it into plug-ins. But when I go into Plug-ins,it does not show it. It shows that it is in the plug-in file, not in the Plug-ins, on the main screen.

What did I do wrong!

I was able to install DRE on Windows 10 successfully.

After you unzipped the file, double click on the folder to see there are two items within it. As the readme file explains, you just need to move that second DataRefEditor folder into the X-plane -> Resources -> Plugins folder.

Then start X-Plane and Data Ref Editor will be an option under the Plugins menu. Click on it, then select Show Datarefs to see the full list.
