Trackpad runaway autopilot

Question

I use an iMac with a trackpad for X-Plane 11. When trying to change altitude, speed, heading etc. plus trying to change radio freqs it is almost impossible to stop at a certain point. I can't find a keyboard shortcut to directly enter the numbers I want. Any help please?

Make sure you have disabled the Force touch feature on the track pad. It is a known issue that it doesn't work with X-Plane.
