Can X-Plane 11 work with a GTN 650 Navigator by reality-xp?

Question

I'm considering buying xPlane 11 and then buying the 3rd party add on "reality-xp" Garmin GTN 650 avionics simulation software since I just installed this avionics in a Beech Bonanza. Does that work? Their website suggests it should.

I have the trial version of xplane 11 working on my laptop so I know that much works.

I've used the Garmin simulation, which is useful, but it's pretty limited.
