I understand that WEDBOT is a computer program that does the XP default 2D airports.  But now I see on the XP Gateway that there are 3D WEDBOT airports.  Does WEDBOT do these 3D airports by itself or is there an artist involved?  If an artist is involved, how come that artist gets no credit?  Thanks.

At times LR has to bulk edit the airport database and re-upload the changes to the Gateway. That could be why an airport update that was submitted by an artist gets changed to WEDbot.

ETA: this recently happened as we renamed as many runways as we could so they would match real world data that hadn't been updated in X-Plane for a long time.
