I installed the X-plane 10 on my Mac yesterday and it worked just fine. Now today, when trying to use it, it keeps telling me that it is running a demo version and I need to insert Disc 1. Why is it doing this?

The demo and the full installation are basically the same product. If you have the DVDs you must keep disc 1 in the drive or at least insert it any time X-Plane asks for it to verify you have purchased the product. It will ask for the DVD every week or so to check DRM.
