I HAVE BEEN USING XPLANE 10 FOR MONTHS.  NOW, SUDDENLY, I CANNOT START XPLANE.  I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT SAYS  "AN AIRFOIL IS TOO OLD OR CORRUPTED!"  THE PATH IS AIRFOILS/NACA 0012 (symmetrical).afl   GET THAT FOIL UPDATED IF YOU WANT TO FLY1!"

SO, I HAVE UPDATED XPLANE 10 JUST NOW. THEN REBOOTED COMPUTER.   STILL THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE WHEN ATTEMPT TO RUN XPLANE 10, AND XPLANE 10 STILL WILL NOT START.  WHERE TO I GO FROM HERE?  I'VE REALLY ENJOYED USING XPLANE 10 FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS.  BUT SUDDENLY NOW I CANNOT USE IT!   XPLANE 11 WORKS NORMALLY.

The airfoil file may be missing a value. Additional checks were added towards the end of the X-Plane 10 run so we started seeing some issues with airfoils with 0 values. Is this airfoil part of a third party plane perhaps? Can you figure out what plane it belongs to and modify the file?

Otherwise, running the latest X-Plane 10 installer and picking the update option should find any corrupt default files. Note that you will want to pick the "overwrite" option if X-Plane asks for confirmation.
