When I am flying, there is an exact copy of my aircraft that flies ahead of me with its distance dependant on how fast my aircraft is traveling. If I am standing still, you can't see the duplicate model.

I cant seem to find any toggle for this, or it's a bug.

There is a special start for "formation flying" that you could be seeing. It's picked from the location customize screen & the special starts button.

You can also make sure no networking options were left on by accident by going to settings > network & clicking the "reset networking configuration" button.

The nuclear option is to reset all prefs: Go to the output folder & move, rename or delete the entire preferences folder.
