Hi,

I am experiencing a lot of Z - Fighting in x plane 11 to the point where it is destroying any realism in the simulator. is LR looking at developing techniques to prevent this from happening? if not, are there any suggestions how to prevent this from happening.

Thank You

Hi, Can you confirm it happens on X-plane default scenery and aircraft? You can always try to increase antialiasing, as explained in that video :

If it happens on third party aircraft and objects, it must be due to bad 3D design. In that case, you should report the problem to the relevant developers.

Hi,

thanks for your comments. I can confirm it happens to default x plane scenery including the autogen building and trees. I thought it may be because I have used ortho4xp, but I installed a completely new copy of x plane without any add owns and it still happened. I have tried everything in regards to antialiasing, but to no avail.

What is your GPU? Could you send a link to a video showing more precisely your Z-flighting? Could you also include your X-plane 11/log.txt file?

Please find attached video of the said z-Fighting

Thanks

And your log.txt?
Do you have a plugin that affects the view? Your "camera" seems to be shaking.

Hi,

sorry, please find attached log file. I now have add ons installed, but have removed everything before and the same z-fighting happens. It has also happened on a fresh install.

Thanks for your assistance

sorry, no I don't have any camera add ons...this was taken when flying so its a little shaky.

I've looked at other developers add on sceneries and this does not happen to theirs....only default x plane autogen
